MIM-304 Hardened is based on 304L through microalloying(adding Nb) to refine the grains and adjust the Cr and Ni content at the same time, so that 304L can maintain good corrosion resistance while improving strength and hardness. It is suitable for applications that require both 304-level corrosion resistance and higher hardness.

Compared with 304L, tensile strength is increased by approximately 10%, and hardness is improved by 20–50 HV, while maintaining sufficient ductility.
